WebaKayak Software
Weba Kayak software represents the software part of our Kayak ergometer product. It gives the possibility to connect the Kayak ERGO to a PC, gives an overview of all utility features and allows their functionality. The software consists of three functional modes: Race, Group training and Analyse.
Race Mode
The race mode provides organizing of a race with many (up to 8) ergometers and gives graphical representation of racers’ position during the race. It also gives an review of relevant parameters for each racer, which is related to: power, cadence and heart rate (pulse). The race is defined with certain distance in meters and it finishes when all competitors exceed given distance, or when user interrupts the program by himself.
A Dialog box for race preparing appears before entering the “Race mode”. This dialog box contains one list with devices detected on PC and another list with devices that will be included in the race. With the buttons offered on this dialog it is possible to include or exclude devices from the race. Also, this dialog box has a drop down list for choosing the race length.
This dialog enables users to enter the racers’ name particular for each detected device. To do this, first you should select the desired device, then type in the name of the racer who uses that device.
After the racers are selected and the race length is chosen, the race can be started by pressing “Start” button.
Group training mode
Group training is a program mode which displays different training parameters, such as current power, average power, average strokes and average heart rate. Training duration is determined in minutes and ends when that period expires or the user interrupts the program. Training preparation is almost similar to race preparation with one difference: the training duration is determined in minutes.
Analyse mode
Analyse mode enables users to obtain graphical representation of all race/training utility features after the race/training is executed. Each of the race/training utility features (Total Power, Left Power, Right Power, Cadence, Strokes) has a graph representation which is determined with points when the cycles are detected. The average value of all utility features achieved during training/race is displayed next to the graph.
Analyse mode gives several opportunities. You can load any file with training or race value from the database through “Load” button. It is also possible to save the complete “Analyse mode” area in PC memory as a picture with various formats (bmp, png, jpg) by pressing “Save Graph” button or to print it by pressing “Print Graph” button. Pressing the “Print Graph” button triggers the dialog box for setting up the printing parameters such as: number of copies, paper format size, paper orientation, etc.
All colors present in the graph area are adjustable through “Adjust color” dialog box that appears when “Adjust” button is pressed. Assume we have to change Bottom Background color. This can be done by pressing “Change”
button next to the Bottom Background label. After that the dialog box for adjusting colors will be displayed on the front of Analyse mode. After background colors are changed Analyse mode looks like the picture below.
